Future Unity Glanvill Pensions Ltd. ‘FUG Pensions’ officially launched its services to the public on Wednesday October 17th at the OceanView Restaurant Victoria Island Lagos. The event which was well attended by various top management in the financial industry had as the Chief Guest of Honour, Governor Orji Uzor Kalu.
The Chairman of FUG Pensions, Mrs. E. Ebi, during her opening remarks stated that FUG Pensions would focus on rendering first class pension service to the nation’s economy in both the public and private sector.
The vision of the company is to be the leading and the most trusted name in Pension Fund Management, while the mission is to produce competitive investment returns for their clients, employing world class management expertise and deploying cutting edge technology to the benefit of all stakeholders.
In his opening statement Mr. Usman Suleiman spoke about the branding of the company. With the coming together of three companies Future View Financial Services, Unity bank and Glanvills, the goal was to unify all of the companies into one brand identity that would bring more equity into the company. As a result of all these factors, they came up with the name Future Unity Glanvill Pensions Ltd., which is actually the first word in the names of the three promoters and the acronym ‘FUG Pensions’ is the first letter of each of the three words.
He further remarked that the symbol of the logo consists of four right angled blocks coming together, which is metaphoric of strength, stability and security. The blocks he mentioned are right angled and straight because they would never provide crooked services to their customers.
The first three blocks represents each of the three companies coming together to form one company, while the last block represents the customer, who is key reason why they are in business.
The color theme for the logo is four shades of blue which stand for authority, dignity, security, faithfulness, loyalty, corporate stability and trust which are key factors customers look for when choosing a financial services company.
The slogan, “A brighter future guaranteed: was adopted, because this in essence sums the brand promise to thier customers.
